This week we have been learning about display data using a stem and leaf graph, choose an appropriate data, display using more than one variable, interpret information from graphs plan an investigation.
|. We stood up in our teams and gathered data on when our birthdays were.
- we put our birthday months in a chart using Google Sheets.
- we then put it in 2 graphs and I made a bar graph and a line graph.
- then we wrote statements about the graphs.
:One thing I learnt was that the most common month for our hub to have birthdays is April.

ReplyDeleteYou have really collected a lot of data for your graph. Interesting to see that the most popular month was April. Maybe you could include more information with your statements next time. I find the bar graph easier to read than the line graph. Which graph do you think is the easiest to read?

ReplyDeleteThis was a great learning activity. How cool is it that you can use Google Sheets to make graphs so quickly! I cannot believe that there is only one birthday in July - perhaps I should have added my birthday to this list as my birthday is in July and then there would have been two.
